How to use the Studio G Music Library
Step 1
If you’ve got an image or idea in your head, try using the keyword
search.
Just type a word into the box and click the submit button
Step 2
You can filter the results to narrow down your choice using the drop down
menus. You can filter by Genre, Tempo, or Track
Length - or a combination of
these. You can use these filters with or without using the keyword search.
Step 3
Once you have some search results, you will see the Title and Track length
of the Tracks in a list. There are 3 buttons: Play, Download
320 kbps MP3 or Shortlist.
Play will stream the track directly for previewing. Download will save the
track to you hard disk and Shortlist will save the track to the shortlist for
reviewing later. Shortlist's can also be saved and sent to colleagues.
Step 4
As well as these functions being available from the search results list, you
can also click the small triangle or the track title to expand the view to see
the complete information of the track - eg composer.
Step 5
From the Track Details panel, you can calculate and print out the licence
cost, request a CD of the Track, or print out a Music Cue Sheet complete
with all the details you need for the licence.
Step 6
The Shortlist is a useful feature. Once you’ve added tracks to a shortlist,
you can name and save shortlist's and email the shortlist to colleagues for
on-line collaboration.
